Qualifications

4+ years of experience in full - cycle accounts payable with 3-way matching

Experience with mid - large ERP system

Experience with automation and control testing

Intermediate experience with Excel functions

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other related field of study preferred

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role involves processing and coding invoices, ensuring adherence to company guidelines, and maintaining accurate vendor data. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts payable, ERP implementation, and excel proficiency.

Responsibilities include:

Process and code invoices, expense accounts, and payment requests ensuring they conform to company guidelines.Review and audit expense reports for adherence.Obtain and validate invoices for suitable authorization and documentation approval.Ensure prompt processing, evaluation, and reporting of expense records for payments.Reconcile corporate credit cards and P-cards.Review and reconcile temporary staffing agency invoices.Determine accruals and prepare accrual entries.Act as a liaison and resolve inquiries from internal departments and vendors.Resolve disputes and controversial invoices.Monitor vendor database to ensure accuracy in vendor, provider, and employee data.Make recommendations to improve the payment process.Complete AP-related financial reports and provide variance analysis for expense accounts.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.50/hr.
