Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role involves processing and coding invoices, ensuring adherence to company guidelines, and maintaining accurate vendor data. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts payable, ERP implementation, and excel proficiency.
ResponsibilitiesProcess and code invoices, expense accounts, and payment requests ensuring they conform to company guidelines.Review and audit expense reports for adherence.Obtain and validate invoices for suitable authorization and documentation approval.Ensure prompt processing, evaluation, and reporting of expense records for payments.Reconcile corporate credit cards and P-cards.Review and reconcile temporary staffing agency invoices.Determine accruals and prepare accrual entries.Act as a liaison and resolve inquiries from internal departments and vendors.Resolve disputes and controversial invoices.Monitor vendor database to ensure accuracy in vendor, provider, and employee data.Make recommendations to improve the payment process.Complete AP-related financial reports and provide variance analysis for expense accounts.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Essential Skills3 years of Accounts Payable experience.Experience with ERP Implementation and Testing.Excel Proficiency with Data Manipulation (PivotTables, VLOOKUPS, etc.).Proficiency in invoice processing, accounting, invoicing, and reconciliation.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college in accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.4 to 7 years of experience in accounts payable.Experience in Sage 100, Acumatica, and Expense Management Systems, a plus.Experience with automation and analysis.Proficiency in three-way matching, purchase order processing, and month-end procedures.Work Environment
This role is fully remote but requires the candidate to come onsite once a month for all operation meetings. The candidate must be located in Southern California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.50/hr.
