Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Analyst I plays a crucial role in supporting the accounting department with a range of tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and basic financial analysis. This role involves processing invoices, assisting in month-end close procedures, and helping to generate financial reports. The Accounts Payable Analyst I contributes to maintaining accurate financial records and collaborates with team members to ensure compliance and efficient operations.
Primary Responsibilities
An Accounting Assistant is responsible for.
Maintains financial records: They perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, & verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records such as costing, accounts payable, payroll, &/or travel & expenses.Preparing financial reports: They assist in preparing financial statements, budget reports, & other financial reports for management review.Conducting financial analysis: They may perform basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, & potential areas of improvement.
