The Opportunity To support our commitment in providing world-class finance shared services, our Accounts Payable Analyst will provide support to our Manila Shared Services Center (SSC) handling finance operations in East Asia. This role is based in the Philippines. Your role in our team Receive, review, and process invoices and staff reimbursement in accordance with established procedures. Identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors, subconsultants, and employees. Gather new supplier or updated records, including supplier information, payment terms, and contact details. Resolve vendor inquiries and escalate any major incidents/ issues to the Line Manager in a timely and professional manner. Process monthly accruals and prepayments for expenses relating to accounts payable activities. Assist in the month-end and year-end close process, including preparation of account reconciliations, analysis of account balances, and other tasks as assigned. Ensure compliance with global standard policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations. Prepare regular reports on accounts payable activities, including aging reports, and other ad-hoc reports as required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and general accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as relevant laws and regulations. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
