Accounts Payable Associate
Location: Troy, NY Category: Staff Positions Posted On: Tue Mar 11 2025 Job Description: Overview The Accounts Payable Associate reports to the College Assistant Director of Purchasing and Accounts Payable. This position maintains the regular accounting duties for payables within an organization. The primary responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Associate include acquiring and processing invoices, assisting in the reconciliation of accounts, and paying or receiving payment from vendors. Job Description & Responsibilities + Completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. + Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. + Maintain historical records of all invoices, reports, receipts, and cheques by saving documents properly on the network. + Research and respond to all account payable inquiries in a prompt manner + Provide exemplary customer service to faculty, staff, students, and vendors The estimated wage is $19.00- $20.00 per hour for 37.5 hours per week for 52 weeks. Job Requirements: + Minimum of 2 years of related experience- + Knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting procedures + Knowledge of MS Office + Accuracy, attention to detail, and maintaining a professional manner at all times. + Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Additional Information: RSC offers a dynamic college environment and friendly work atmosphere.
