The Accounts Payable Audit Specialist I is an accounting support position in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America.
\n\nThis position is eligible for telecommuting.
\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n\n\nProvide audit of invoices at various stages of the payment approval process.\nReviews invoices and provides audit reporting on deleted AP invoices.\nEnsures that assigned audits are completed daily.\nCommunicate the results of audits with management.\nManages work queues to ensure operational needs are met accurately and efficiently for various AP teams.\nIdentify process improvements in both procedures and systems.\nOther duties and/or special projects may be assigned to meet business needs; Incumbent will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time if requested by department management.\n\n Requirements\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent \n5 or more years of accounts payable experience\n\n\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
\n\n\nAbility to evaluate, analyze, and prioritize data in various forms and formats \nKnowledge and skilled in proper accounting principles, practices, and procedures\nAble to accurately perform calculations and analysis \nAbility to work both independently and in a team setting; flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and changing environment\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong problem solving skills with acute attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and alpha-numeric data entry\n\n\nDESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
\n\nUnderstanding of, or experience in, the Community Association Management Industry\nExperience with automated AP workflows and modules \n\n\n
