Accounts Payable Clerk, Global Payments

Company Description

Job Description 

The Global Payments team is responsible for all company payables and disbursements worldwide.  The Accounts Payable Clerk provides support to various departments within A&F, and they will be highly involved in all aspects of the day-to-day payable operations.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoicesEnsure payment activity is accurate, timely and meets all internal control requirementsFollow up on invoices and payments with discrepancies or disputesCommunicate daily with a diverse group of internal and external business partnersGenerate payments to vendors by following established procedures for processing disbursementsMonitor Accounts Payable email inboxes/mailbox daily. Handle invoices along with related e-mails/other invoice supportAssist with team-related projects and ad-hoc requestsOther duties as assigned

What Do You Need To Bring? 

Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years in an Accounts Payable roleAccounts Payable knowledge and/or relevant business experienceInfor Nexus or similar third-party payment platform knowledge is a plusEfficient and accurate data entry skillsUnderstanding of basic accounting conceptsSelf-starter - able to work independently and organize workload with minimal guidanceEstablished business communication skills and customer service understandingProficient in using V-Lookups formulas and Pivot Tables in Excel
