Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a long-term contract position within the retail industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic vendor support team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing vendor relationships, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities: • Set up and manage supplier and vendor accounts in a high-paced environment. • Handle W-9 and W-8 forms with accuracy and ensure compliance with company standards. • Validate and safeguard sensitive banking information provided by vendors. • Enter critical vendor data into company systems with precision and attention to detail. • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage data and support reporting needs. • Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision to meet deadlines. • Demonstrate initiative and accountability in delivering exceptional service. • Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced setting where prioritization and teamwork are essential. • Apply strong analytical skills to solve problems and ensure accurate financial processing. • Work with systems such as Oracle, Dynamics, or QuickBooks to support accounts payable activities. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features. • Familiarity with W-9 and W-8 forms and their requirements. • Ability to accurately process and enter vendor invoices into financial systems. • Strong understanding of banking information security and validation. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Experience with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP is highly desirable. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
