Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in northern Colorado. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payment processing while maintaining compliance with financial policies. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and proper coding. • Reconcile accounts to maintain up-to-date financial records. • Conduct regular check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors. • Enter and manage data within financial systems with precision. • Handle invoice processing, including verifying approvals and matching purchase orders. • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and inquiries. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data. • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable. • Prepare and distribute reports as needed to support financial operations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing. • Strong understanding of coding invoices and managing check runs. • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Effective communication skills for resolving vendor and departmental issues. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
