Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Title: Accounts Payable / Administrative Clerk

Job Description

This role requires a candidate with a working knowledge of basic accounting functions to support the accounts payable department. The position involves performing essential accounting duties and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

ResponsibilitiesFile paperwork accurately and efficiently.Perform data entry with precision.Scan and manage documents.Complete mailings as required.Provide administrative support to company personnel.Match invoices to inventory accurately.Balance financial statements.Process payments efficiently.Record vouchers systematically.Verify credit memos.Ensure edit reports and batches balance before posting.Interact professionally with vendors and suppliers.Complete all other assigned projects diligently.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of experience in accounts payable (AP) or general accounting.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.Basic knowledge of accounting principles.Experience in matching invoices to inventory and balancing statements.Processing payments and recording vouchers.Verifying credit memos and edit reports.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.Proficient with office equipment such as copiers and scanners.Clear written and verbal communication skills.Strong time management and organizational abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.Comfortable interacting with vendors and suppliers.Team-oriented and able to support various departments.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
