Description We are looking for a detail-oriented PART-TIME Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that may offer hybrid work model after an initial on-site period to establish familiarity with processes. The role is part-time and requires excellent organizational skills and accuracy to contribute to the smooth operation of financial transactions. Hours can be 3 days a week or 4-5 hours each day. This opportunity does NOT offer medical benefits or 401k. Responsibilities: • Process invoices and verify their accuracy against purchase orders and supporting documents. • Enter financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies. • Manage check runs, including preparing and distributing checks to vendors. • Code invoices appropriately and ensure compliance with company policies. • Conduct routine audits of accounts payable transactions to maintain accuracy. • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve vendor inquiries. • Utilize software tools like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and Dynamics to streamline processes. • Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for reporting purposes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Oracle or Dynamics. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry. • Knowledge of invoice processing and coding procedures. • Experience with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. • Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and team members. • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
