Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Sapphire, NC. This is a part - time contract position, and ideal for someone that wants to work with a fantastic, friendly team and have some flexibility in their schedule. If you have a strong background in accounts payables, credit card reconciliations, and working with accounting software, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: • Perform accurate and timely credit card reconciliations to ensure proper tracking of expenses. • Process and code invoices while maintaining compliance with company standards. • Enter financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail. • Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to manage accounts payable tasks. • Conduct routine account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly. • Prepare and execute check runs while adhering to established protocols. • Collaborate with team members to streamline invoice processing workflows. • Apply Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes. • Support month-end and year-end financial processes as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar roles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software, such as SAP or Oracle. • Strong skills in coding invoices and performing account reconciliations. • Familiarity with check runs and invoice processing procedures. • Competence in data entry with attention to accuracy and detail. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial reporting. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
