Description We have a hybrid employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk position in Dayton, Ohio. The role is 50/50 Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) in a fast-paced environment. This is a possible contract to hire/ part-time position with up to 30 hours per week Responsibilities: • Handle and process accounts payable (AP) in a timely manner • Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data • Code invoices accurately for appropriate record keeping • Perform check runs to manage and maintain the cash flow • Handle queries regarding accounts payable, resolving them efficiently • Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records • Conduct credit card reconciliation tasks to ensure all transactions are accounted for • Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accuracy and speed • Utilize Microsoft Excel and NetSuite for various accounting and data entry tasks • Process mails, ensuring all correspondence are appropriately dispatched and received. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation (AR) and accounts payable (AP). • Demonstrated skills in data entry tasks. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks. • Familiarity with NetSuite for managing business processes. • Experience in credit card reconciliation. • Ability to process mails related to accounts payable. • Experience in bank account reconciliation. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Experience with construction accounting ++ Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
