Accounts Payable Clerk
Description Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments and accurate recordkeeping. This position is ideal for individuals who are proactive, enjoy working with numbers, and have strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: + Invoice Processing: Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper approvals before processing payments. + Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments via checks, ACH transfers, and credit cards in a timely manner. + Vendor Management: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies related to billing and payments. + Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable to the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. + Recordkeeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions and vendor documentation. + Reporting: Assist in preparing accounts payable reports and summaries for management review. + Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles regarding accounts payable practices.
