Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for handling accounts payable tasks, including reconciling payments, communicating with vendors, and running payments. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately process payable invoices and ensure appropriate coding • Run check payments efficiently and in a timely manner • Maintain clear and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions • Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting • Utilize AS400 system for data entry and invoice processing tasks • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status • Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data • Ensure accuracy in all data entry tasks related to accounts payable • Handle weekly account payable tasks as required. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk • Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices is required • Must have strong Data Entry skills • Proficient in Invoice Processing • Must have experience using Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with AS400 is a plus • Should be capable of handling Payable Invoices • Experience in Weekly Account Payable is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
