Description We are offering a contract for a position in the Media industry located in Nashville, Tennessee, United States for an Accounts Payable Clerk. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your primary responsibilities will encompass handling vendor contact for discrepancies, maintaining and reconciling accounts, and processing invoices. Responsibilities • Handle discrepancies by being the primary vendor contact • Perform detailed account reconciliations • Process invoices efficiently and accurately • Maintain the accounts payable • Conduct regular check runs • Execute data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Leverage Microsoft Excel for intermediate tasks • Utilize QuickBooks, SAP, and Sage Intacct in daily operations • Code invoices as per the established procedures • Perform credit card reconciliation. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar • Proficient in Account Reconciliation • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Familiarity with Check Runs • Proficient in Coding Invoices • Strong skills in Data Entry • Experience in Invoice Processing • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Experience with QuickBooks • Knowledge of SAP • Familiarity with Sage Intacct • Strong communication skills for Vendor Contacts • Experience with Credit Card Reconciliation • Media industry experience is a plus • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
