Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team located in Portland, Maine. In this role, you will play an integral part in managing and organizing financial data, ensuring the accuracy of account records, and addressing customer inquiries in a timely manner. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications • Ensure the precise maintenance of customer credit records • Address and resolve customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner • Monitor and manage customer accounts, implementing necessary actions when required • Handle account reconciliation tasks meticulously to ensure financial accuracy • Process check runs and code invoices efficiently • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for financial data entry and account management • Leverage Microsoft Excel skills for data organization and analysis • Ensure accurate and efficient invoice processing.
