Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Perris, California. In this role, you will be primarily involved in managing and processing accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoicing, and addressing other related tasks. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle the processing of accounts payable • Consistently monitor emails pertinent to accounts payable • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of invoices into the system • Execute check runs to ensure due dates are met • Perform 3-way matching with purchase orders and purchase receipts • Procure necessary approvals for invoice processing • Code accounts payable to the corresponding accounts • Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy • Cross-train in payroll processing through ADP • Utilize platforms such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with an ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively. • Demonstrable experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) operations. • Skilled in performing Check Runs to ensure timely and accurate payments. • Capable of Coding Invoices, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. • Proven expertise in Data Entry, with a focus on speed and precision. • Familiarity with Invoice Processing, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly. • Strong command over Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas. • Knowledge of Oracle, preferably in an accounts payable context. • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting. • Experience with SAP, particularly in managing financial transactions and reporting.
