Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the insurance industry based in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with tasks such as account reconciliation, invoice processing, data entry, and other related duties. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records • Manage accounts payable including processing invoices and check runs • Handle data entry tasks with precision and efficiency • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and other relevant software for accounting tasks • Ensure coding of invoices is done accurately • Monitor and update customer accounts regularly • Take necessary actions based on customer account monitoring • Resolve any customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required to manage and balance financial statements. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary for managing the company's bills and expenses. • Ability to perform Check Runs to ensure timely and accurate payments. • Familiarity with Coding Invoices is necessary for proper categorization and tracking of expenses. • Proficiency in Data Entry is required for maintaining accurate records of financial transactions. • Experience in Invoice Processing is necessary for verifying and processing invoices for payment. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required for creating spreadsheets, analyzing data, and performing calculations. • Knowledge of Oracle is beneficial for managing database systems and ensuring seamless data operations. • Familiarity with QuickBooks is necessary for managing the organization's accounts, invoices, and payroll. • Proficiency in SAP is required for managing business operations and customer relations.
