Are you a meticulous and results-driven Accounts Payable Specialist looking for an opportunity to grow within the financial services industry? Our client, a highly regarded Wealth Management Firm, is seeking an experienced AP professional to join their team in a temp-to-hire capacity. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks and Concur, as well as experience processing expense reimbursements.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Full-cycle accounts payable processing—reviewing, coding, and entering invoices accurately into QuickBooks.
+ Expense reimbursement management using Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies.
+ Vendor management, including maintaining records, processing payments, and handling inquiries.
+ Invoice approvals and reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved efficiently.
+ Assisting with month-end close, including AP accruals and reconciliations.
+ Collaborating with internal departments to improve AP processes and optimize workflow.
+ Supporting audit requests by providing documentation and account details as needed.
+ Cross-training in Accounts Receivable (AR) functions is a plus, assisting with invoicing and payment applications when needed.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
+ 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the financial services or wealth management sector.
+ Proficiency in QuickBooks and Concur is required.
+ Experience with expense reimbursements and employee travel expenses.
+ Strong understanding of general accounting principles and month-end close procedures.
+ High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
+ Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams in a fast-paced environment.
+ Accounts Receivable (AR) experience is a plus but not required.
