Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Savannah, Georgia. As part of our team, you will be managing the general ledger accounting related to accounts payable transactions, utilizing established procedures, and ensuring the timely and efficient processing of invoices and payments. Responsibilities: • Maintain and update the general ledger with accounts payable transactions • Assist in the allocation of credit card charges and intercompany billing • Timely and efficiently process vendor invoices and payments, optimizing payment terms • Participate in improving accounts payable processes and efficiency through data analysis and report preparation • Contribute to the annual budgeting and audit processes, specifically as they relate to accounts payable • Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues through research and direct communication • Assist in the preparation of year-end 1099’s as part of the accounts payable process Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) • Ability to perform Check Runs • Knowledge of Coding Invoices • Strong Data Entry skills • Expertise in Invoice Processing • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with 3 Way Matching process • Skills in Vendor Management • Ability to Maintain Vendor Files • Experience in Processing Vendor Invoices • Ability to handle Vendor Contacts • Understanding of Debits and Corporate Credit • Capability to manage Cash Balance • Experience in Cash Disbursements • Familiarity with General Ledger Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
