Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky, United States. In this role, you will be actively involved in the processing and monitoring of account payments and transactions. Your duties will be centered around the maintenance of all payment data, the resolution of any financial discrepancies, and the coordination with both internal and external individuals to ensure smooth financial operations. Responsibilities: • Accurately processing customer invoices and ensuring that they match with purchase orders • Handling a high volume of invoices on a weekly basis • Regularly interacting with vendors for account related matters • Collaborating with internal buyers for any inquiries related to pricing • Carrying out full cycle Accounts Payable tasks • Working closely with distribution centers to confirm the receipt of orders/invoices • Carrying out end-of-month statement reconciliations • Ensuring the accurate input of data into the system • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various account-related tasks • Using Oracle for various financial operations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar • Demonstrable proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Ability to conduct Check Runs efficiently • Experience in Coding Invoices • Strong Data Entry skills • Proficiency in Invoice Processing • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills • Familiarity with Oracle or similar financial software • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
