Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Coordinator independently coordinates and processes invoices and requests for payment, utilizing standard accounts payable functions and ensures timely accurate payments to vendors while adhering to policy and responsibly safeguarding the finances of the organization.Originates and releases online banking transactions such as wire transfers, EFT payments as required to meet Finance Department obligationsResponsible for reviewing expense reports Prioritizes multiple Accounts Payable tasks and projects to ensure timely completion. Works independently as well as collaboratively, challenges the status quo, proactively suggests improvements to streamline workflow and optimize technology. Tests and troubleshoots existing and proposed systems.Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.Facilitates the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of program or area services and initiatives. Facilitates the development of practice standards and measurable outcomes based on performance evaluation and research.Serves as a resource to others regarding departmental/area policies, procedures, and services. Performs technical functions of area as needed to fulfill service levels.The ideal candidate will have:
Associates degree in Accounting or related field preferred.Applicable work experience considered.
