POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator II reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager in the Accounting team is responsible for the processing and payment for goods and services necessary for the Bank’s operations. In addition, provides general administrative and clerical support. This position performs routine and non-routine duties such as processing invoices, record keeping and report completion, calculating and summarizing payment information and data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors AP inbox for invoices and verify proper approval is received in accordance with invoice approval policies. Upload invoices in Banktel AP system and ensure processing occurs in a timely manner. Communicate with vendors and vendor owners to resolve billing discrepancies and other requests as needed. Works with Supervisor-Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment of invoices. Generate and distributes reports applicable to bill payments. Perform reconcilements of general expense accounts. Creates new vendors and update existing vendor information in the Banktel AP system based on vendor forms. Performs other duties and projects as requested or assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED 3-5 years’ work experience in Accounts Payable or similar role Knowledge of general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PDF Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. String interpersonal skills. Detailed-oriented, organized and able to work with various professional groups in a fast-paced environment
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels are usually moderate.
HAZARDS:
The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting and those present in commuting by car. Occasionally may be exposed to those conditions present in public forums and meeting places.
