Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, seeks an Accounts Payable Director to join our Corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
What is the opportunity?
The Accounts Payable Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the entire Accounts Payable Process including supervising, training, assigning and directing the processing of timely and accurate payments through the Company’s payment systems. The position reports to the VP & Regional Controller and includes close collaboration with divisional and ancillary teams as well as all corporate departments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manages all aspects of Accounts Payable processes including supervising and motivating staff as well as effective delegation and setting measurable goals for the team.Streamline workflow to meet scheduled deadlinesStrategic planning including developing, implementing and maintaining systems, reporting and policies and procedures to ensure adherence to company guidelines.Ensure overall timely and accurate payments of vendor invoices.Communicate and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.Prepare and present regular reports and analysis to senior management on accounts payable activities, including payment trends, vendor performance, and potential cost-savings opportunities.Ensure compliance with all regulations, including GAAP, internal policies and SOX.Periodic travel to remote regional accounts payable locations as required.Oversee purchase card (P-Card) program.Maintain relationships with key vendors.Oversee the governance of the Company’s SAP Concur Invoice processing system.Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes and make recommendations for improvements to the function.All other duties as assigned.

Essential:Understanding of basic accounting concepts such as cost classification, management principles, accounts payable procedures and related financial regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Technical proficiency with accounting software and other data analytic tools.Strong planning and problem-solving skills.10+ years of experience with Accounts Payable Management backgroundPreferred:Experience with:Oracle Enterprise OneSAP Concur – Invoice/Travel and Expense modulesP-Card and E-Payable ProgramsIndustry certificationBachelor's degree
