POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Manager, Shared Services provides leadership and expertise to the Accounts Payable team that are assigned to the Entities with services being outsourced from the Company (PPPI). He / She ensures that all payments to suppliers are properly approved and executed on an accurate and timely basis. He / She will work to maintain and improve process efficiency and ensure the smooth functioning of the Account’s Payables’ process and procedures. He / She will engage in customer service/relationship to ensure the long-term stability of the Company and manage team accordingly to meet goals and produce results.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages the Accounts Payable team which includes Supervisor and Analysts/Officers, Accounts Payable. Provides coaching and training opportunities for Accounts Payable staffs, inclusive of appropriate succession training, administration of performance management and the timely and constructive feedback of general performance.
2. Monitors the aging report and to ensure prompt payment of invoices, will take action and resolve payment issues.
3. Reviews and reconciles all Accounts Payable, retainage accounts, applicable inventory control accounts and monthly reports.
4. Oversees the relationship with Vendors and Melco Group’s internal customers to ensure prompt, efficient and courteous service at all times.
5. Works with Purchasing, Warehouse & Inventory Control departments in ensuring accurate data processing and reconciliation.
6. Develops, maintains, and reviews policies and procedures pertaining to Finance.
7. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
8. Continuously drives system automation to improve efficiency.
9. Identifies opportunities for cost savings and process improvements that have a positive impact on company financial performance.
10. Stays abreast of industry and accounting standards.Seeks to identify the resources and make continual improvement recommendations to perform duties and implement process immediately.

11. Adopts and implements new approaches and practices to meet changing circumstances.
12. Maintains external relationships with banking partners, auditors, and vendors.
13. Clearly understands the strategic Vision of the Company and how it impacts on the Business Unit/function.
14. Anticipates and assesses issues, risks or opportunities facing the Company and applies effective, creative solutions.
15. Ensures the development of his people through recruitment, training
and development.
16. Professional development requirements of direct reports are met.
17. Performs ad hoc projects and duties as assigned by senior management.
18. Recommends and/or executes management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign, or discipline employees.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
1. Service standards are consistent with Melco Group’s expectations
2. Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are reviewed, updated, and communicated to the team effectively
3. Ensure data/reporting is processed accurately and within Finance’s monthly timeline
4. Careful attention to detail and order is essential in the prevention of mistakes or errors
5. Automate manual process to improve efficiency and accuracy
6. Facilitate successful resolution of issues raised by internal and external customers
7. Supervise and motivate accounts payable team to ensure accounts payable KPIs are met
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. At least 4 to 5 years relevant experience within an Accounts Payable and/or Financial Accounting environment
2. With understanding of Gaming, Hotel, F&B, Entertainment, Retail and Mall Management Operations
3. Sound knowledge of ERP and computer applications
II. Education
Tertiary Education in Accounting/Finance
