JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Accounts Payable Manager to lead our Accounts Payable department and contribute to our ongoing success! The Accounts Payable Manager is an integral member of the FOX Corporation Shared Services Team. The Accounts Payable Manager will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, related KPI, and reconciliation of accounts. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, team management skills, and a deep understanding of Shared services, accounting principles, and financial processes.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environmentLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing AP teamSet clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluationsOversee and optimize the accounts payable shared services structureDevelop and implement efficient AP processes and workflowsReview and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approvalInvestigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicesMaintain positive relationships with vendors and resolve any payment or invoice-related inquiriesMonitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and accurateMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insightsWork with team to reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepanciesPrepare regular account reconciliation reports for management reviewEnsure compliance with company policies regarding invoice processing and approvalsEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulationsIdentify opportunities to streamline and improve accounts payable processesImplement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controlsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the procure-to-pay processGenerate and analyze reports related to accounts payable activitiesPresent financial data and analysis to management as neededAssist in audits by providing accurate and complete documentationHandle 1099 Misc and NEC processUtilize analytical skills to identify process improvement opportunities

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field5-7 years of experience as an Accounts Payable ManagerRobust 1099 and 1042 experienceShared Services experience and understanding of factory model Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processesStrong team management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong Excel skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in accounting software and ERP systemsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent attention to detail and accuracy

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-115,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
