Description
Our trusted client is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager Consultant for a long-term project. As an Accounts Payable Manager, your primary role will be to manage and provide support to the AP team, implementing processes in a start-up environment utilizing Net Suite. This hybrid role is located in Troy Michigan and will report directly to the head of corporate accounting.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Direct and manage the Accounts Payable team
• Implement and streamline accounting processes
• Oversee the use of Net suite and other Accounting Software Systems
• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments
• Perform routine accounting functions including accrual accounting
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Monitor and manage customer credit applications and records
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must
• Demonstrated experience in all Accounting Functions
• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is important
• Prior experience in Auditing is necessary
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is desired
• Proven experience in Accounting Management is essential
