We were founded in 2008 by pre-eminent psychiatrists and psychologists and treat 6,000+ patients per year. With the critical need for mental health care and eating disorder treatment, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, we’re looking for passionate and qualified professionals who will live out our mission to help save the lives of our patients.

What you’ll be doing:

This is by no means a “behind-the-scenes" role, as your work will help the company serve patients daily in a multitude of ways.

The Accounts Payable Manager manages the company's accounts payable process and function, overseeing the management of A/P staff as well as daily, weekly, monthly and annual processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Manages staff that code expenses, verify and process invoices, and issue payments. Provides oversight to the team by supervising, guiding, and directing employees to be effective team members. Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Using the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team’s level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards. Ensures that invoices or other financial obligations are processed and paid in a timely manner and that all transactions are posted and closed to the subledger and general ledger. Coordinate month-end closing procedures for the accounts payable department. Develops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines and controls. Implement process improvements with a focus on technological efficiencies and accuracies. Collaborates with and advises business partners of requirements for processing invoices and payments. Provides business stakeholders with information regarding vendor spend for their area. Coordinates with vendors for set-up, including appropriate tax and banking information; resolves issues with vendors when necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required or certification from a reputable professional organization for Procurement, A/P or combination preferred. 5+ years working in the Accounts Payable function. 2+ years of leadership experience. Ability to be decisive meet deadlines. Positive attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with system implementation and process improvement and automation a plus.

Compensation starting range for the Accounts Payable Manager role is $84,000 to $101,000. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
