Description A leading property management company is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and streamline AP processes. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong understanding of real estate or property management accounting and the ability to manage a high-functioning AP team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, and vendor payments. + Manage and mentor accounts payable staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. + Collaborate with property managers to resolve billing discrepancies and improve payment workflows. + Establish and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating terms as needed. + Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. + Prepare and analyze AP reports, including vendor aging and processing metrics. + Assist with the month-end close process by reconciling AP accounts and providing reporting. Requirements + 4+ years of accounts payable experience, with 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role (property management experience strongly preferred). + Proficiency in accounting systems, such as Yardi, AppFolio, or similar software. + Strong understanding of AP processes and general accounting principles. + Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
