Accounts Payable Officer

BGIS, a global leader in facility management and real estate services, is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team in Adelaide, SA. Key Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently process vendor invoices. Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies. Communicate with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve inquiries and issues. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Maintain organized, up-to-date records of invoices, payments, and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:
 

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience in a property or corporate real estate environment, or at a senior level in a similarly complex industry, is highly desirable. MRI software experience is an advantage.
