Job Summary As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will take ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and supplier reconciliations. You’ll also resolve discrepancies, manage vendor queries, and foster strong supplier relationships. Based in Mascot, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to join a global leader in aviation services, contributing to a high-performing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your activities Please note that your responsibilities are not limited to the tasks outlined below and may include additional duties as reasonably required during your employment. Daily Responsibilities: Perform bank reconciliations. Review and approve credit card claims. Process journal entries. Manage intercompany transactions. Handle withholding tax journal entries and payments. Respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally. Weekly Responsibilities: Prepare and update cash flow statements for Australia and New Zealand. Add and maintain entries in the Fixed Asset Register. Process employee cash reimbursement details for payroll. Monthly Responsibilities: Reconcile credit card statements. Complete balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare and record fuel excise journal entries. Calculate depreciation and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register. Submit BAS returns for Australia and New Zealand. Process travel reconciliations and entries. Your profile Thrive in a team environment and can work effectively with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Highly customer-focused, with a natural ability to build and maintain positive relationships. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Organised and task-driven, with a proven ability to complete tasks efficiently and on time. Accounting background preferred, with experience or education in accounting (degree qualified or currently studying). Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with at least intermediate skills (including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables). What we offer Permanent Full-Time position. Competitive remuneration.
