About the Role: We are looking for an Accounts Payable Process Specialist to join our Finance Team. In this role, you will support the Accounts Payable (AP) process across APAC locations. This role is a critical link between Gore Finance Teams and our AP Managed Service team, ensuring smooth operations, effective troubleshooting, and driving process improvements. Additionally, the position will play a key role in supporting transformational initiatives such as SAP implementation and change management across the region.
This role will be located at our facility in Seoul, Korea or Singapore or Hong Kong, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business need.
Responsibilities:
Execute hands-on work for AP processes, including data validation, issue resolution, and ensuring accuracy in transactions Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting AP-related issues, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution Partner with Gore Finance and the AP Managed Service team to align on processes, address service gaps, and ensure effective communication Manage intercompany-related AP activities, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and dispute resolution Support AP month-end closing activities, such as preparing AP accruals, reviewing open invoices, and ensuring accurate financial reporting Support and manage change initiatives, including training, process adaptation, and communication during transitions Contribute to transformational projects such as SAP implementation by providing expertise in AP processes and ensuring alignment with regional requirements Monitor and analyze AP performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement Collaborate with the AP Managed Service team to provide audit support, ensuring accurate and timely responses to audit requirements Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and internal controls in all AP-related activities
Required Qualifications:
University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 5 years experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance function, preferably in a regional or multinational setting Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives; exposure to SAP implementation is a strong advantage Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across APAC Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred Fluency in English is required; additional language skills relevant to APAC (e.g., Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese) are a plus A proactive mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment Ability to travel 10%
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in setting up Accounts Payable Shared Service Centers and collaborating with partners in shared service environments is a plus Multinational company accounting and finance experience a plus SAP experience/implementation experience is a plus
