Accounts Payable Processor | Hybrid | Contract to Hire
Job Summary:
We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Processor to join our finance team. This candidate will manage accounts payable invoices, complete reconciliations, and post to the general ledger. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
· Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
· Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions, including verifying and matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts, and resolving any discrepancies.
· Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
· Reporting: Generate reports on accounts payable status and activities for management review.
· Assist with month-end closing processes.
· Support the finance team with audits and other financial projects.
· Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable processing.
· Experience with manual and automated AP Processing at a high volume.
· Familiarity with SAP software
Skills:
· Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
· Proficiency in SAP software and Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v look-ups).
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
