Job Title: Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist
Location: Wallingford, CT
Responsibilities:
+ Maintaining accounts receivable, documenting bills and supporting documentation
+ Building good working relationships with customers to ensure timely remittance of payments
+ Maintaining accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt, and gathering appropriate signatures
+ Working with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve vendor invoice issues
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
+ 1+ years of work experience in accounting
+ This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
Desired Skills:
+ Associate degree in accounting or equivalent
+ Prior manufacturing experience a plus
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at once
+ Team player and strong attention to detail
+ Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
+ Strong experience with MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with an ERP system is a plus
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
