Accounts Payable Representative

Responsible for processing invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

Verify general ledger coding and obtain proper approval of invoices before processing for paymentBatch and enter invoices into the Accounts Payable system with the correct due dates and discounts takenCheck batches for correct payee and amount before posting to systemResearch questions concerning payment status of invoices and communicate with outside vendors and employeesDocument payments and maintain records for IRS record retention purposesResearch and resolve issues concerning payment statuses to avoid late fees and past due notices

Job Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

1 year of accounts payable experienceUnderstanding of basic accounting including debits and creditsMust have a strong work ethic and a high level of integrityMust be willing to work in a team environment and independentlyDetail-orientedProficient with Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal and written communication skills

Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,

Working Shift:

AM / PM
