Adecco is currently assisting a great client in their search for an experienced **Accounts Payable Representative** in **Fargo, ND** . **PLEASE NOTE:** This is an in-office, onsite position. No other options available. **Type:** 40hrs/wk. Contract **Start Date:** Within two weeks of offer. **Location:** At the intersect of 40th Avenue S and 38th Street SW in Fargo, ND. Please make sure that commute works for you prior to applying. **Hours** : 8am to 5pm; M-F **Pay:** $20.00 to $ 20.00/hr **Length:** Three (3) to four (4) months. Responsibilities for the **Accounts Payable Representative** role include: + Understand the accounts payable process including but not limited to general ledger coding, accruals, prepaid policies, CapEx policies and 1099 reporting. + Follow all policies and procedures ensuring that SOX requirements are met while functioning with accuracy and timeliness; Ensure that all bills are approved according to the Approval Authority Matrix based on manager level, amount, and type of purchase; Ensure company processes and procedures are clearly defined, updated, and documented. + Coordinate with tax department to ensure sales and use tax is assessed appropriately on vendor transactions based on tax rules for applicable jurisdiction. + Assist with maintenance and reconciliation of a variety of ledgers, reports, and account record; Prepare for and assist with financial audit fieldwork requests. + Post transactions to accounts payable system; verify, correct, and balance accounts payable system; generate payments; validate payments; match payments to vouchers; process payments to vendors; review statements for accuracy and completeness. Qualifications for this **Accounts Payable Representative** role: + AS or BS in a financial discipline is strongly preferred.
