Accounts Payable Senior Specialist


Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Senior Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts payable process, with a strong emphasis on vendor master management and process improvement. This role involves handling complex transactions, maintaining vendor relationships, and driving efficiency in accounts payable operations.

Job Requirements:

•    Maintain and update vendor master data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and IRS regulations.
•    Conduct regular reviews and cleansing of vendor data to ensure data integrity.
•    Ensure compliance with SOX controls and financial policies.
•    Develop and implement process improvements.
•    Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to streamline the vendor onboarding process.
•    Collaborate with other departments to support accounts payable projects. 
•    Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies related to vendor master data.
•    Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.
•    Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function.
•    Lead initiatives to automate invoice processing and payment workflows.
•    Develop and maintain accounts payable procedures and documentation.
•    Analyze current processes and recommend best practices to reduce cycle times and improve accuracy.
•    Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process improvement progress.
