Accounts Payable Specialist
Description Our client is looking for a detail-focused Accounts Payable Specialist to manage invoice processing and payment cycles. If you’re experienced in handling high volumes of invoices and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is the job for you! Key Responsibilities: + Review, code, and process invoices and vendor payments accurately and efficiently. + Maintain and reconcile AP records, ensuring all payment discrepancies are resolved. + Prepare and process check runs, electronic transfers, and ACH payments. + Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, issues, or discrepancies. + Assist in verifying and maintaining W-9 forms and handling 1099 reporting annually. + Support month-end close processes by reconciling accounts and preparing reports. Requirements + 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a bookkeeping role. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and strong Excel skills. + Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset for vendor relations. + Ability to work with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. + Experience with three-way matching and preparing 1099 forms is a big plus.
