Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join the growing finance team of one of our clients. Key Responsibilities: + Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice receipt, coding, approval, and payment processing + Ensure accuracy in matching purchase orders with invoices and proper documentation of transactions. + Reconcile accounts payable records with the general ledger monthly. + Monitor and maintain compliance with state, federal, and company financial policies. + Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers. + Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely communication and resolution of payment issues. + Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and audit preparation. + Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions for policy compliance. Requirements + Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. + Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role. + Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or a comparable ERP system. + Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyze large volumes of data. + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
