Description Robert Half is searching for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist to join one of our clients’ growing teams. Key Responsibilities: + Perform full-cycle accounts payable processes, including matching, batching, coding, and processing of invoices + Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. + Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. + Record and maintain accurate data in the accounts payable module of the company’s ERP system. + Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including preparing accruals and reconciling AP sub-ledger to the general ledger. + Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies. + Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies in processing payments. + Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits. Requirements + Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). + 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role + Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or NetSuite is highly desirable. + Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. + Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to handle high-volume processes. + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for vendor and internal interactions. Preferred Qualifications: + Familiarity with three-way matching processes and vendor credit resolution is a plus. + Certification in accounts payable or similar (e.g., Accounts Payable Manager (APM)) is an added advantage.
