Our client is seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to play an integral role in managing the financial health of their organization. Key Responsibilities: + Accurately review, process, and code invoices for payment approval. + Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, respond to inquiries, and manage payment schedules. + Maintain thorough and organized records by reconciling accounts payable transactions and verifying account balances. + Process employee expense reports and ensure they comply with company policies. + Assist in preparing accounts payable reports and contribute to month-end closing activities. + Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and organizational policies. + Update and maintain vendor files and records, including accurate W-9 forms and payment terms. Requirements + Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. + 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably within a mid-to-large organization. + Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar systems) and Microsoft Excel. + Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. + Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors, teams, and management.
