Description Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join San Diego, CA. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the organization’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: + Review, verify, and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner. + Match purchase orders to invoices and track discrepancies as needed. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies. + Ensure payments are processed accurately and on schedule by preparing and executing check runs, ACH transactions, or wire transfers. + Maintain digital and physical accounts payable records for reference and audits. + Monitor and respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve issues promptly. + Process employee expense reimbursements in compliance with company policies. + Support month-end and year-end closing activities by providing accurate and complete accounts payable data. + Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Requirements + Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; Bachelor’s degree preferred. + 2+ years of accounts payable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience. + Proficiency with accounts payable and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems). + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data management. + High attention to detail and accuracy. + Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. + Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
