Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic and growing construction company in North Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves managing the full cycle of accounts payable (AP) processes in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee the full cycle accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, approval distribution, and payment processing. • Implement and maintain best practices for vendor management and accounts payable workflows. • Accurately code invoices to ensure proper job-costing and general ledger alignment. • Conduct regular check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors. • Manage accounts payable for multiple legal entities, ensuring compliance and consistency. • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors as needed. • Generate and distribute detailed accounts payable reports to support financial analysis. • Collaborate with team members to develop and refine standard operating procedures. • Maintain organized records of all accounts payable activities for audit and reporting purposes. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full cycle accounts payable. • Strong proficiency in job-costing and general ledger coding. • Familiarity with managing accounts payable in a multi-entity environment. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams. • Proficiency in accounts payable software and related tools. • Experience in the construction industry or similar field is preferred.
