We have an outstanding Contract position for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a leading Company located in the Denver, CO surrounding area.
Pay Rate is $22
Responsible for timely and accurate processing and control of accounts payable. 
Responsibilities: Ensures timely payment of vendorsEnsures proper general ledger coding of payablesProcesses purchase order invoices by matching price and quantity on invoice to purchase orderResolves any discrepancies through communications with vendorsHandles vendor calls regarding outstanding paymentReconciles statements from vendors and research problems with invoices and receiptsPrepares and reviews checks and wire transfersAudits work of AP processing at the field units
Basic Hiring Criteria: High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years of accounts payable processing experience
Desired Qualifications:Microsoft Excel and Word skillsExperience with SAP idealCompleteness, accuracy, and timeliness of invoice and payment requisition processing and remittance on an established daily and monthly scheduleEffective oral and written communication skillsMust have the ability to communicate and disclose data in an accurate manner
