Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: The Netherlands
Work Mode: Hybrid (office minimum twice per week)
Position Summary:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing all vendor invoices received in an efficient and timely manner. You will function as a business partner to vendors and internal colleagues for all matters related to invoices and payments. You will be part of a multicultural global accounts payable team and will interact with colleagues and vendors around the globe. You will be reporting to the accounts payable supervisor in The Netherlands.
Your Day-to-Day:
Ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely processing of all vendor invoices Verifying those transactions comply with internal policies and procedures Investigating and resolving problems associated with the processing of invoices and purchase orders Reconciling and monitoring vendor accounts to ensure transaction entries and payments are up to date Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors and colleagues Processing and reviewing weekly payment runs Reviewing purchase requisitions submitted by the business to ensure costs are being allocated appropriately Assisting the AP Supervisor with supporting and guiding junior colleagues Continually reviewing the department's processes and making suggestions for change. Performing additional responsibilities as requested by Management
What You Bring to The Team:
Professional fluency in the English language is a must Finance or Business-related degree or relevant work experience 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably purchase to pay SOX experience is preferred High level of accuracy Strong multicultural communication skills Roll up your sleeves attitude while maintaining the big picture Critical thinker who can leverage previous experience to drive process improvement across the team Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving, and demanding environment SAP experience preferred
