Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Summary & Purpose: Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by the company. Duties & Responsibilities: + Input all invoices/disbursements on a timely basis + Create checks for disbursement weekly including bank transfers + Establish and maintain hard copy or .pdf files of invoices/checks + Concur expense account processing to be provided to Payroll + Complete 1099 Form reporting on a regular basis + Complete W-9 requests + Respond to all Accounts Payable inquiries within 24 hours + Assist with audits as necessary + Track AMEX cards, order new cards for employees, troubleshoot AMEX and Concur Issues as they arise Qualifications: + Four or more years related experience + Must possess strong data entry skills + Must be able to work under deadlines + Strong understanding of vendor review program and ensure invoices processed to assist in achieving days payable outstanding goals + Strong customer orientation + Commitment to company Core Values + Adopt and promote lean practices in all activities, considering the elimination of wasteful resources for any goal other than the creation of value for the end customer Physical Demands and Work Environment : The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
