Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and review invoices for accuracy and completeness.Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.Reconcile accounts payable transactions.Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.Maintain vendor files and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
