Description Our client is currently seeking an organizes and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic, fast-paced finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about accounting and enjoys working with numbers. Responsibilities: + Process invoices and expense reports for payment. + Resolve any discrepancies in invoicing and payments. + Maintain vendor files, ensuring accuracy and completeness. + Reconcile accounts payable transactions. + Prepare and/or review all accounts payable transactions and ensure all financial data is properly recorded. + Assist in month-end closing activities. + Handle vendor queries regarding payment. + Perform other duties within the accounting department as assigned. Requirements + Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study. + 1+ years of experience in accounts payable, or comparable experience. + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel. + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. + Strong communication skills (written & verbal). + Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
