Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in New York, New York. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, handling essential accounting functions in a fast-paced fashion industry environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee the Accounts Payable process, including the accurate and efficient processing of invoices. • Issue checks as required and maintain a vigilant watch on the AP inbox. • Ensure all vendor statements are up-to-date and accurate. • Contribute to the generation of Ad Hoc reports as necessary. • Assist with the monthly close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting. • Utilize your skills in Microsoft Dynamics AX and Concur for efficient and effective execution of tasks. • Monitor and manage the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system for optimal performance. • Adhere to principles of accrival accounting and ensure all account coding is accurate. • Perform auditing tasks as necessary to ensure financial integrity. • Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and code invoices as required.
